The composition workshop Komponieren in HIMMLISCHER HÖHE held for the first time in 2024 on the occasion of the two anniversaries "100 years Mariendom Linz" and "200 years Anton Bruckner" wants to be a place that offers young composers space for exciting sound experiments in and with the largest church in Austria.
The composition workshop Komponieren in HIMMLISCHER HÖHE organized by the Bischof-Rudigier-Foundation offers the extraordinary opportunity of an intensive exchange between young composers and professional musicians as well as an exciting experience for the (sound) artistic career.
The aim is to support young composers and to pave the way for contemporary music to gain public awareness. The works created as part of the composition workshop Komponieren in HIMMLISCHER HÖHE will therefore be premiered on October 17, 2024, in a presentation concert.
